Adan Amer is a first-year student in the PhD Epidemiology program at University of Toronto. Prior to that, she completed a master of public health in epidemiology at the same school, with a particular focus on environmental epidemiology and healthcare artificial intelligence. Her doctoral work focuses on antimicrobial resistance surveillance among vulnerable populations, such as those in long-term care settings.
