You Cheng Lai is a senior undergraduate researcher at Chang Gung University, Taiwan, with a strong interest in translational tumour immunology and T cell biology. His current research focuses on how TLR2 signalling modulates CD4⁺ T cell functional states and tumour progression in the TC1 tumour model, with particular interest in immune metabolism and the tumour microenvironment. He has experience in flow cytometry, T cell differentiation assays, and spatial biology approaches including Xenium-based analysis. He is also interested in translational immunopathology and cytokine-mediated diseases. In the future, he hopes to pursue doctoral training in immunology and contribute to the development of next-generation immunotherapies.
