Rachael Tan (陳彥穎)

Rachael Tan is a second year MPhil student working in a basic cellular immunology lab from HKUMed. Her research interest lies upon myeloid metabolism and education in diseases. Her current project focuses on neutrophils pro-tumour reprogramming under the influence of hyperglycaemia in HCC, addressing the worsening cancer prognosis and ICB resistance in cancer patients with pre-existing T2D. Through this, she aspires to deliver fundamental messages with strong clinical meaning and potential translational value for the benefits of T2D patients.
