An allergist-immunologist with extensive clinical experience in managing complex allergic diseases, including chronic urticaria, urticarial vasculitis, recurrent angioedema, inborn errors of immunity. Daria Fomina professional focus has been on urticaria and various forms of recurrent angioedema. In recent years, her scientific interests have increasingly focused on the application of CAR-T therapy in autoimmune diseases as an emerging and promising therapeutic approach. She serves as the Head of Centers of Reference and Excellence in urticaria, angioedema, and atopic dermatitis. Under her leadership, the City Clinical and Research Center of Allergy and Immunology has been recognised as a UCARE, ACARE, and ADCARE centre since 2017, 2019, and 2021, respectively. She actively participate in international initiatives and registry studies and serve as a Steering Committee member of the CARE and CURE registries. As Chief Allergist-Immunologist of Moscow, she contributes to national clinical guidelines and organise educational activities for physicians and patients.
