Yu Yan is a PhD candidate at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, South China University of Technology, under the supervision of Professor Xuehui Li. Her research focuses on the catalytic depolymerisation of plastics, aiming to develop innovative catalytic systems that transform plastic waste into high-value chemicals. Currently, she is advancing her doctoral projects and expect to complete her degree by late 2026 or June 2027. She is passionate about advancing sustainable chemistry and contributing to the circular economy through catalytic innovation.
