Wenjun Fan (范文俊)
Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics
As a researcher specialising in energy electrocatalysis, Wenjun Fan has published over 60 papers in leading journals (Nat. Commun., JACS, Adv. Mater.) focusing on solar-driven hydrogen production, CO2 conversion, and nitrogen fixation. His core expertise lies in utilising in-situ synchrotron radiation to elucidate structure-activity relationships in catalytic materials. Crucially, with the robust support of the Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility (BSRF), he led the development of China's first in-situ synchrotron X-ray absorption spectroscopy platform coupled with in-situ IR/Raman techniques. This multi-field setup provides an exceptional tool for complex mechanistic research. He is thrilled to apply for the PolyU-HEPS Joint Summer Camp. Given his deep practical ties to BSRF and passion for advanced characterisation, he is eager to share his platform-building experiences, learn from leading experts, and foster interdisciplinary collaborations in synchrotron applications with fellow researchers.
