Siyu Wei (魏思雨)
Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences
Siyu Wei is currently a PhD student in the Titanium Alloy Research Department at the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR, CAS). She received her BS degree in New Energy Materials and Devices from Hefei University of Technology and her MS degree in Materials and Chemical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Her research focuses on the superelastic mechanical behaviour of superelastic titanium alloys, with particular emphasis on utilising synchrotron radiation techniques to investigate the degree and underlying mechanisms of α/β phase transformation. She looks forward to systematically mastering synchrotron radiation X-ray imaging and diffraction methods through this summer course, thereby further enhancing her capabilities in the in-situ characterisation of titanium alloys.
