Nanqiao Li is a second-year PhD student in the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She received her BS degree in Environmental Engineering from Tianjin University in 2024. Her research focuses on materials design and structure–activity relationships in electrocatalysis, with particular emphasis on single-atom catalysts and copper-based catalysts. By integrating materials characterisation, electrochemical evaluation, and mechanistic analysis, she aims to elucidate the intrinsic links between atomic structure, electronic properties, and catalytic activity/selectivity, thereby contributing to the development of efficient, stable, and sustainable electrocatalytic materials.
