Beijing Advanced Innovation Centerfor Soft Matter Science and Engineering
Jingwen Chu is a third-year graduate student in a direct-entry PhD program at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. His research focuses on the design of confined metal catalysts for Joule-heating dry reforming of methane, as well as the establishment of structure-performance relationships. He has published one first-author paper in ACS Catalysis and applied for three invention patents. He is highly interested in applying Synchrotron radiation techniques to characterise catalytic active sites and dynamic structures, and he is looking forward to advancing his research capabilities through this Summer Courses.
