Honglei Zhang is an assistant professor/investigator in Renewable Energy & Energy Storage at The Nottingham Ningbo China Beacons of Excellence Research and Innovation Institute (CBI). He completed his PhD in chemical and environmental engineering in 2016 in the University of Nottingham. His research primarily focuses on the synthesis, in situ characterisation, and practical application of innovative photo/electrocatalysts for CO₂ reduction and hydrogen production, which are critical processes in the field of renewable energy and environmental sustainability.
