Bolong Hong (洪博龙)
Southern University of Science and Technology
Bolong Hong is a PhD candidate at the Southern University of Science and Technology, supervised by Professor Jinlong Zhu and Professor Songbai Han. His research focuses on all-solid-state batteries, particularly solid electrolytes and interfacial engineering. So far, he has published over 10 SCI papers, including 6 as first or co-first author in journals such as Nature Communications, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, and Energy & Environmental Science, and filed several patents. He has also participated in multiple national and regional research projects, which strengthened his interest in advanced characterisation. To better understand structure–property relationships, he is particularly motivated to learn synchrotron-based techniques, which provide unique insights into complex solid-state systems. He believes this program will equip him with critical tools to deepen his research and uncover fundamental mechanisms in next-generation energy materials.
