Biyun Lin's research primarily focuses on the rational design of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and carbon nitride-based materials, as well as their applications in photocatalytic CO2 reduction and CH4 selective oxidation. She possesses specialised expertise in catalyst synthesis and characterisation, fine chemical synthesis, and advanced synchrotron techniques, particularly synchrotron X-ray diffraction (SXRD) and X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) data refinement.
