Na Xu (徐娜)
Tongji University
Na Xu is a first -year direct PhD candidate at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tongji University. She graduated with outstanding academic performance and was awarded Shanghai Outstanding Graduate. She undergraduate thesis was also recognised as Shanghai Excellent UndergraduateThesis. My research focuses on electrocatalytic water splitting(HER/OER) for green hydrogen production, with current work on NiFe-based layered double hydroxides and ruthenium-doped carbon-based catalysts. She hopes to employ synchrotron radiation techniques to reveal their electronic structure and active sites at the atomic level, thereby further optimising catalyst design. She looks forward to engaging with experts and peers in this summer camp to deepen my research capabilities and broaden my academic horizons in advanced characterisation and energy materials.
