Professor Lee obtained his PhD in Pharmacology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2009, then pursued further postdoctoral training in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of CUHK, and promoted to Research Assistant Professor since 2014.

His current researches focus on the 1) Etiopathogenesis of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis, and 2) Clinical trial and biology of adult mesenchymal stem cells for cartilage repair/regeneration. He has published over 30 publications in peer-reviewed international journals, and serves as reviewers of a number of international journals.
