Sylvia Gong (龚逸雪)
Shanghai University of Sport
Sylvia Gong is interested in injury prevention and motor control disorders in individuals with musculoskeletal or neurological conditions developed during her undergraduate studies in Rehabilitation Technology at Shanghai University of Sport (SUS). Motivated to further explore this field, she continued her academic training at SUS and pursued a Master’s degree in Sports Rehabilitation. Her previous research has primarily focused on the neuromuscular control strategies of individuals with chronic ankle instability, and she has published several SCI-indexed papers in this area. In addition, she participated in a China–Australia sports science exchange program in the summer of 2025, which further broadened her research perspective. This experience strengthened her interest in applying advanced biomechanics approaches—such as wearable sensors, finite element analysis and machine learning—to address sports-related injuries and the growing challenges associated with population aging.
