Xuan Zhao holds a master’s degree from Shanghai University of Sport (China) and is currently a PhD student at Cardiff University (UK). Her research focuses on knee biomechanics and ACL injury mechanisms, with particular interest in ligament behaviour and joint stability. Her work combines motion analysis, musculoskeletal simulation, and physiological insights to understand how biomechanical and hormonal factors influence ligament loading and injury risk.
