Meiyuan Xu is a master's student in Sports Biomechanics at Beijing Sport University, focusing on dance biomechanics and sports equipment. Her research includes biomechanical analysis of ballet and Chinese dance movements. She presented her study, "The Effect of Wearing Patellar Support Elastic Compression Knee Braces on Knee Joint Biomechanics During Basketball-Specific Movements," at the 14th National Sports Science Congress. Additionally, she is involved in a horizontal research project examining the biomechanics of running shoes. Her work aims to enhance athletic performance and injury prevention through biomechanical insights.
