Karelhia Garcia-Alamo is a veterinarian born in Venezuela. After graduation, she lived and worked there for 10 years, and then moved to Spain to do a Master's degree in Equine Sports Medicine. She has worked in several countries, Costa Rica, Colombia, Spain, and, most recently, she collaborated with NGOs in Gambia and Egypt. Now, she is in Canada doing a PhD in equine Biomechanics. She loves warm weather, so after she's done, she hopes to move back to southern latitudes.
