India Nellist is an MSc Sport Biomechanics student at Loughborough University, with a BSc in Mathematics and Sport Science from the University of Loughborough. Alongside her studies, she works as an applied biomechanist with UK Athletics and Loughborough Sport, delivering high‑quality performance data, athlete monitoring, and technical feedback to coaches and athletes. She is skilled in motion capture, speed‑based analysis, Statistical Parametric Mapping, MATLAB, and field‑based biomechanical testing, particularly in sprinting and relay events. Her role involves collecting step characteristics and speed data, as well as analysing relay exchange parameters for junior national relay squads and communicating clear, actionable insights to support training and competition decisions. Outside the lab, she is a keen sportsperson, having played netball and swum throughout my life, and she currently compete for the university lacrosse team.
