Annalise Langdon
Loughborough University
Annalise Langdon is an MSc candidate in Sports Biomechanics at Loughborough University, where her work focuses on the mechanical principles underlying athletic performance, injury mechanisms, and rehabilitation. She previously completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi, developing a strong foundation in mechanics and quantitative analysis that now informs her research in human movement science. Her research focuses on applying engineering principles to the study of human movement, including biomechanical assessment, movement kinematics, load management, and strength training mechanics. Langdon is particularly interested in bridging laboratory biomechanics and applied sport environments, translating biomechanical research into practical applications for sport performance and injury prevention. Her interdisciplinary background enables her to integrate engineering problem-solving with contemporary sports science practice.
