Amelia Brandon
Loughborough University
Amelia Brandon is a Musculoskeletal Sport Science and Health graduate with a strong interest in biomechanics and performance in elite sport. Her academic training has focused on human movement analysis, combining theoretical knowledge with applied experience in high-performance environments. She has completed biomechanics placements supporting elite athletes, where she developed skills in motion analysis, data interpretation, and translating findings into practical performance insights. These experiences have strengthened her ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and apply biomechanical principles to optimise movement efficiency and reduce injury risk. She is particularly interested in the application of advanced biomechanical techniques to inform performance decision-making and bridge the gap between research and practice.
