Zicong Chen is a PhD student in environmental engineering at Macau University of Science and Technology. Chen’s research focuses on environmental minerals, particularly iron oxides, and their role in biogeochemical cycles, contaminant immobilisation, and remediation. He uses neutron scattering to study atomic-scale structural processes and is eager to learn advanced neutron methods to support research in environmental mineral science.
