Shuoyang Xiao
City University of Hong Kong
I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Physics at Beijing Normal University, graduating in June 2025. I’ve been admitted to the Department of Physics at City University of Hong Kong, where I will begin doctoral studies under the supervision of Professor Xiangqiang Chu. My master's research involved applying artificial neural networks to remove resolution functions from small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) spectra. For my PhD, I plan to explore advanced neutron scattering techniques to investigate the structure and dynamics of proteins. I hope to participate in the summer course to strengthen my theoretical and practical foundation in neutron science and support my future research endeavors.
