Shunfu Xie is a PhD student at South China University of Technology and currently working at the China Spallation Neutron Source. His research specialises in small-angle neutron scattering, with a focus on investigating spinodal decomposition in metallic alloys to better understand nanoscale phase-separation dynamics. This work has strengthened Shunfu’s expertise in neutron instrumentation, data analysis and alloy microstructure characterisation.
