Aditya Gopalan
Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Science

Aditya Gopalan is an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, in the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering.


He received the PhD degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and followed it up with a postdoc at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. His research interests lie in statistical learning, with a focus on online and reinforcement learning, optimisation and control, and statistical inference.


He served as an editor of the IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, and is an Associate Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy.
