Xiang is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Information Engineering at CUHK. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Information Engineering from Southeast University. His research focuses on information theory, with particular interests in second-order asymptotics and lossy compression. Xiang is dedicated to exploring the fundamental limits of information processing and their practical implications in communication and data compression systems.
