Vanlalruata is a PhD student at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India, in the final stage of his doctoral research. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University and a master's degree from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. Prior to his PhD, he gained teaching experience at Mizoram University and NIELIT, Aizawl. His research focuses on Signal Processing and Information Theory, with an emphasis on modelling and detection of Poisson processes. He is also exploring new research directions to address meaningful problems in the field.
