Mingyang earned a BE in Information Engineering and a PhD in Information and Communication Engineering from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2018 and 2024, respectively. He was a research assistant at the Institute of Network Coding, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and is now a postdoctoral fellow there. His research focuses on channel coding theory and its practical applications.
