Hassan is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He holds a master’s degree from the Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Tehran Polytechnic, where his thesis focused on the Lattice Poly Cracker Cryptosystem. His research interests include mathematics, information theory, channel coding, and machine learning. Currently, Hassan is working on designing and optimising polar codes for Successive Cancellation List decoding, with a focus on improving metrics such as Frame Error Rate and enhancing Dynamic Successive Cancellation decoding efficiency.
