Sally Tse (謝穎)
University of Hong Kong, King's College London
I am a PhD student in the joint HKU-KCL programme in psychiatry, commencing fall 2025. My research focuses on integrating computational neuroscience and psychiatry to better understand behavioural patterns in psychiatric patients. I am particularly interested in leveraging computational models to simulate and analyse complex neural mechanisms underlying psychiatric disorders. By combining insights from neuroscience and computational psychiatry, I aim to contribute to the development of more precise diagnostic tools and personalised treatment strategies. My work involves using advanced computational techniques, such as reinforcement learning models, to study how neural networks are disrupted in psychiatric conditions. I am excited to explore the potential of computational approaches in bridging basic research and clinical practice, ultimately enhancing mental health outcomes.
