Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Sciences
Shiyi Ding is a master’s student in computer technology at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), supervised by Guoqiang Bi and Pengcheng Zhou at the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT, CAS). Shiyi holds a bachelor’s degree in statistics from Central South University. Her research interests include statistical and computational neuroscience, neural time-series analysis, probabilistic models and high-dimensional neural data. She is currently using deep-learning and matrix-factorisation methods to capture latent spatiotemporal patterns in noisy neural time-series data, and has also worked on bioimage inverse problems, calcium-imaging motion correction, and brain-metabolism data analysis.
