Lawrence Ho is currently pursuing a PhD focused on applying AI technologies to healthcare and engineering. His research involves collaboration with a local public hospital, where he studies epileptic signals to better understand the neurological and bioinformatics foundations of epilepsy and related disorders. Before beginning his PhD, Lawrence worked as a technical architect at IBM, leading projects that applied AI and quantum technologies to real-world challenges in healthcare and engineering. He later founded a start-up developing AI-driven solutions in these fields. Lawrence is eager to join the Croucher Summer Course to deepen his knowledge of computational neuroscience, connect with researchers and contribute to innovations that bridge technology and neuroscience.
