Lawrence Ho (何育龍)
City University of Hong Kong
I am currently pursuing a PhD where I focus on applying AI technologies to healthcare and engineering. My research involves a collaboration with a local public hospital, where I study epileptic signals to better understand the neurological and bioinformatics foundations of epilepsy and related disorders. Before starting my PhD, I worked as a technical architect at IBM, leading projects that applied AI and quantum technologies to real-world problems in healthcare and engineering. Building on this experience, I founded a startup that develops AI-driven solutions for these fields. Through my work, I’ve developed a strong passion for leveraging technology to address complex medical challenges. Joining the Croucher Summer Course would allow me to deepen my knowledge of computational neuroscience, connect with researchers in the field, and contribute to advancing innovations that bridge technology and neuroscience.
