Kaijie Li (李恺杰)
Peking University
Kaijie Li is a PhD student at Peking University, researching the neural mechanisms underlying dynamic camouflage in cephalopods, especially cuttlefish. Kaijie’s work combines neuroethology, in vivo imaging, and large-scale electrophysiological recordings to explore how these animals process sensory input and generate complex motor outputs for camouflage. Kaijie is particularly interested in using feedforward computational models to understand the sensorimotor transformations that support rapid, context-dependent camouflage. Kaijie hopes to strengthen their computational skills to analyse high-dimensional neural data in future research.
