Junfeng Xia is a first-year master’s student in biomedical engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), working in Quanying Liu’s Neural Computing and Control Lab. With a background in computer science and technology, Junfeng’s research focuses on using deep learning to decode information processing in the human brain. His work in computational neuroscience has contributed to studies on fMRI reconstruction through transfer learning, brain-inspired artificial synapse development and brain network optimisation. Junfeng is eager to attend the summer school to expand his expertise in computational neuroscience through structured learning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
