Jiajun Chen is a second-year PhD candidate in computer science at Zhejiang University, affiliated with the State Key Laboratory of Brain-Machine Intelligence. Under the guidance of Yu Qi, Jiajun’s research focuses on AI for neuroscience, particularly the neural encoding mechanisms underlying human handwriting. His work explores similarities between the human motor cortex and artificial neural networks, using task-driven AI to better understand neural coding mechanisms.
