Jiajun Chen (陈嘉浚)
Zhejiang University
I am Jiajun Chen, a second-year PhD candidate in Computer Science at Zhejiang University affiliated with the State Key Laboratory of Brain-Machine Intelligence. Under the guidance of Yu Qi, my research focuses on AI4Neuroscience, particularly neural encoding mechanisms underlying human handwriting processes. My work reveals the similarity between the Human brain’s Motor Cortex and artificial neural networks and uses task-driven AI to understand coding mechanisms in our brain area. My technical expertise spans Python (advanced, including PyTorch and brainpy for neural modelling), MATLAB, and R. I specialise in constructing hybrid models that integrate biological neural dynamics with artificial neural networks, leveraging techniques ranging from spike train analysis to high-dimensional data visualisation.
