Hengyang Ding
Beijing Normal University
I am a junior undergraduate student majoring in mathematics and applied mathematics at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Beijing Normal University. I possess a strong academic background, having received multiple scholarships, including the First-Class Scholarship and the Outstanding Student Award. My educational experience is complemented by practical research in cognitive neuroscience. I worked as a research assistant at the National Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning, designing experiments for memory intervention and neurocomputational modeling. Additionally, I interned at the Tsinghua Institute for AI Industry Research, focusing on optimising large language models and developing interactive systems. I also led interdisciplinary projects, such as developing an AI-driven mental health iOS app for the elderly. These experiences have equipped me with skills in data analysis, computational modelling, and experimental design. I am deeply interested in computational neuroscience and aim to pursue a PhD to explore neural mechanisms.
