Jiayang is a PhD student in Ecology at the College of Environment and Ecology, Xiamen University, where she has been studying since 2023. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Northeast Agricultural University and a master’s degree from the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on marine metaproteomics, investigating the metabolic functions of planktonic microbial communities and their responses to environmental changes in estuarine ecosystems.
