Siu Leung Chau is a PhD student at Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a mixed background in Chinese medicine and analytical chemistry. His current research investigates drug resistance mechanisms in protein kinase-related diseases. By leveraging hydrogen–deuterium exchange mass spectrometry (HDX-MS) and native mass spectrometry (native MS), Siu Leung aims to elucidate dynamic protein structural changes and conformational shifts that contribute to therapeutic resistance. This integrative approach allows mapping of precise molecular interactions, offering new insights into overcoming drug resistance and advancing targeted therapy development.
