Liuhui Qiao is a PhD student in Professor Yan Zhang’s group at the College of Life Sciences, Nankai University, China. One direction of Liuhui’s work investigates how the plant endomembrane system regulates hormone-response homeostasis through post-translational modification pathways, including palmitoylation, phosphorylation, and ubiquitination. Another direction explores how intracellular protein condensates respond to environmental stress, with a focus on heat stress-induced nuclear protein dynamics and biomolecular condensation. Liuhui was awarded the 2025 Basic Research Project for Young Students (Doctoral Students) of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has published a research article in Molecular Plant as the leading co-first author.
