Le Zheng (郑乐)
University of Hong Kong
Le Zheng earned his PhD from Nanjing University (2024), where he determined cryo-EM structures of human SIDT1/SIDT2 and elucidated their pH-dependent RNA transport. He then joined the University of Hong Kong as a postdoctoral fellow. Currently, Le applies cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET) to investigate the ultrastructure of spherical membrane vesicles (SMVs) induced by Zika virus replication. His work aims to reveal the native three-dimensional architecture of viral replication compartments, providing mechanistic insights into host-virus interactions and advancing structural virology.
