Hua Dang is a PhD student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, having earned a BSc from Northwest A&F University and an MSc from Wuhan University. His research focuses on RNA modifications and mRNA translation regulation. Hua aspires to translate these fundamental insights into agricultural innovation—enhancing crop performance and engineering plants as efficient biosynthesis factories for valuable compounds. Though still early in his career, he is eager to explore how basic RNA biology can bridge fundamental science and applied biotechnology.
