Professor Tak Mak
Director, Campbell Family Institute for Breast Cancer Research, Canada

Dr. Tak Mak received his PhD in Biochemistry in 1972 from the University of Alberta. After completing his postdoctoral fellowship at Ontario Cancer Institute, the research arm of Princess Margaret Hospital, Dr. Mak became a faculty member at the University of Toronto's Department of Medical Biophysics. Dr. Mak is well known for his work in identifying and cloning T cell receptor genes, a significant discovery in the field of immunology.
