Giannis Tyrovolas completed his undergrad and integrated master's in Mathematics and Computer Science at University of Oxford. He received the maximum grades of first class and distinction for his undergrad and master's respectively. His thesis was on Computational and Axiomatic results for a rich model of liquid democracy and was supervised by Edith Elkind. After graduating, he worked in industry for 18 months. In parallel, he worked on extending his thesis, publishing a preliminary version in the 5th GAIW (https://preflib.github.io/gaiw2023/index) and a full version in AAAI'24 (full version: https://arxiv.org/abs/2312.11932). He has been accepted to start a DPhil in Oxford supervised by Edith Elkind and Paul Goldberg.
