Eden Hartman
Bat-Ilan University, Israel
My name is Eden Hartman and I'm a second-year PhD student of computer science at Bar Ilan University in Israel. My research focuses on computational social choice, specifically on fair division problems. I'm fortunate to conduct it under the supervision of Avinatan Hassidim, Yonatan Aumann, and Erel Segal-Halevi. Our current work is on leximin approximations. Our first paper on this topic was accepted to the last ECAI conference (October 2023, Krakow) and to the last COMSOC workshop (July 2023, Israel). At both events, I presented the paper. I've also participated in the last COMSOC summer school (July 2023, Amsterdam) where it was a pleasure to learn new things and be exposed to new perspectives and research. Most importantly - I got to meet and consult with great people who share my passion for this field.
