Xinhang Lu (陆馨杭)

Xinhang Lu is an assistant professor of computer science at Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan. Xinhang is broadly interested in problems at the intersection of computer science and economics. Her recent work has focused on mechanism design and fairness in algorithmic decision-making (e.g. resource allocation and collective choice).
She previously completed her PhD at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, advised by Xiaohui Bei. She subsequently held postdoctoral positions with Warut Suksompong at the National University of Singapore, as well as in the Algorithmic Decision Theory group led by Haris Aziz and Toby Walsh, and the Algorithms group led by Serge Gaspers at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
