Nate Thach is a PhD student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln under the supervision of Professor Hau Chan. His research mainly focuses on novel applications of machine learning to computational social choice (eg, participatory budgeting and mechanism design without money) as well as AI for good (eg, urban planning and substance use predictions), some of which appear in IJCAI, AAMAS, and ICLR.
