Dr Tom Kirchhausen
Senior Investigator, Program in Cellular and Molecular Medicine (BCH) Professor of Cell Biology, Harvard Medical School

Dr. Kirchhausen was appointed a Professor of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School in 1999 and was an investigator at The CBRI Institute for Biomedical Research from 1992 to 2012, now at PCMM. He served as Assistant Professor, and later Associate Professor at Harvard before attaining his present position. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in 1972 and earned his Ph.D. in Biophysics from the Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Cientificas in 1977.
