Croucher Science Week
Representatives from the Education Bureau, the Hong Kong Science Museum, international science communicators and Croucher scholars gathered on 16 March to celebrate the launch of Croucher Science Week 2018.
Croucher Science Week is a new programme introduced in 2018, designed for local students and the general public to stimulate their natural curiosity and to promote wider understanding of science. The programme is jointly organised by the Croucher Foundation, the Hong Kong Education Bureau, and the Hong Kong Science Museum.
Expert science communicators from around the world were invited to participate in Croucher Science Week, including Australian Museum, Nanogirl Lab, Anturus and Science Made Simple.
At the reception, Mr Huw James, Founder of Anturus, and Dr Michelle Dickinson, founder of Nanogirl shared their stories and experience of science engagement.
A short feature on Croucher Science Week will be available next month on Croucher news page. Stay tuned.
