Max Planck Croucher Symposium

Max Planck Croucher Symposium

The Max Planck Croucher Symposium is a three-day residential meeting between German and Hong Kong scientists, jointly organised by the Max Planck Society and Croucher Foundation.

The goals include exploring basic research queries that transcend conventional subject limitations, and identifying topics that could foster cooperative initiatives to tackle multidisciplinary challenges needing combined expertise.

Previous symposia covered the themes of Molecular systems engineering sciences at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2016); The Future of Biology at Castle Ringberg, Germany (2018); and From Matter to Life in Okinawa, Japan (2019).
